SBCoders - developers of popular jailbreak tweaks such as Deck - that adds a hot bar to iPhone's Springboard, are planning to a release a new jailbreak tweak called Dash.
Dash is a replacement for the iOS app switcher with some additional features such as the ability to close running apps.

The Dash app switcher will offer the following features:
Native iOS look and feel
Easily switch between your running apps
You can choose from five different animations styles such as scroll, coverFlow, rotary, wheel, cylinder, time machine etc.
Swipe up to close running apps
You can access Dash using an Activator action. The jailbreak tweak will be compatible with the iPhone and iPad.

Dash offers a much better app switcher interface thanks to the full-screen view of the apps and more importantly it doesn't look out of place like some of the other app switchers tweaks like Imperium.
The jailbreak tweak doesn't seem to offer quick access to the music controls available in the iOS app switcher, but we hear that the music controls will be available in the final version of the tweak.
SBCoders may release Dash for $1.99 on Cydia. There is no release date yet, but it could be released before the end of the August. We'll let you know as soon as released.
